BROOT 120 is a single-component, modified bitumen and solvent-based, ready to use waterproofing liquid membrane containing root inhibiting additives. By the evaporation of the solvent, it adheres firmly to the surface it is applied, forming a seamless durable waterproof and anti-root film.
Against rainfall in terrace gardens, for waterproofing underground garages and other structures which are covered with soil; Against ground humidity and leakage in foundations, foundation piles, retaining walls and curtain walls; for waterproofing galleries, and drainage and water channels.

The surface to be treated must be clean, dry, and free from dust, dirt, rust and grease. Loose parts must be scraped off completely. Any parts prone to cracking such as pointed tips, edges, and horizontal/vertical intersections must be beveled and rounded. On metal surfaces B PR 102, on non-metal surfaces B PR 101 shall be used as primer to clean from dust, to improve adhesion and therefore improve life of application. Bigger pores and cracks must be filled with REPAMERK 1 repair mortar or PH 55 for corners.
BROOT 120 is applied only to the side contacting with water. As a ready to use material it does not require heating or thinning. It can be applied with a brush, roller, rake or airless pump. To ensure strong adherence, avoid dust, and improve durability, non-metallic surfaces must be undercoated with B PR 101, and metallic surfaces must be undercoated with B PR 102. Although BROOT 120 dries as fast as in approximately 2 hours, it is recommended to wait for a day before the application of the next coat. To ensure perfect durability against higher pressure, it must be reinforced by bearing materials such as glass fabric, felt, and insulation fabric.
Cleaning Of The Tools
After the application the equipment can be cleaned by using industrial solvents.
600 g/m2 for each application. It must be applied at least in three coats.
